Product demos that confused prospects and onboarding docs that nobody watched

A fast-growing B2B SaaS platform had a documentation problem. Their product had grown significantly in features, but their explanation videos were years old, shot on a webcam, and buried in a help center nobody visited.

Support tickets were high. Trial-to-paid conversion was stuck. Prospects would reach the pricing page after a demo and not convert - feedback surveys pointed to a single issue: they didn't fully understand how the product solved their specific problem.

The team needed to rebuild their entire video asset library: landing page explainer, feature walkthroughs for each use case, and onboarding videos for new trial users. Their marketing team had no video production capacity, and agency quotes were coming back at $5,000-$15,000 per video.

Our Approach

Landing page hero explainer

We produced a 90-second landing page video that opened with the customer's problem (not the product's features), walked through the core workflow, and ended with a clear outcome. Delivered in three length variants: 90s, 60s, 30s.

Use-case specific feature videos

For each of the platform's six primary use cases, we edited a 3-5 minute walkthrough using their screen recordings and voiceover. Motion graphics callouts highlighted the key clicks and features that mattered for each audience.

Onboarding video series

A 12-part onboarding video series replaced their text-only help articles. Each video was 2-4 minutes, chapter-structured, and linked from the in-app onboarding flow.

Subscription model for ongoing updates

Rather than a one-time project, the client moved to a monthly subscription. When the product shipped new features, new videos were edited within 48 hours of the release.
